Scott Gibbons, OD was raised in Nampa and earned his baccalaureate degree in Health Science Studies from Boise State University. In 2011, he completed his optometry training at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Afterward, he completed a one year intensive optometry residency program in Memphis at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, with training in a broad range of ocular disease and treatment. Relocating to northern Nevada in 2012, Dr. Gibbons will continue his focus on evaluation and treatment of ocular problems, including glaucoma, anterior segment, and retinal disease; as well as assisting in post-operative eye care, including co-management of cataract, glaucoma, refractive, and pterygium surgeries. Dr. Gibbons is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Nevada Optometric Association.
