Dr. Brian Benitz has been a trusted leader in eye care across Nevada since 2001. With over two decades of experience, he expertly blends clinical precision, advanced technology, and a deeply personalized approach to deliver tailored diagnoses and treatment plans for every patient.
A native of Iowa, Dr. Benitz earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Iowa State University and his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After relocating to Reno, he played a key role in developing one of the state’s largest private optometry practice groups prior to joining Sierra Nevada Eye Center.
Board Certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases, Dr. Benitz remains steadfast in his commitment to raising the standard of excellence in eye care throughout Northern Nevada.
Outside of work, Dr. Benitz enjoys spending his time with his wife and two daughters, all of whom are active in sports and outdoor activities
