• Do you accept my insurance?

  Many of our services are covered by Medicare and most major insurance plans. For services not covered, or for patients without insurance, CareCredit financing is available so you can pay over time with monthly payments that fit your budget.

• What should I bring to my first appointment?

  Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any previous eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions. If you’ve had prior eye surgery, bring any records you have available.

• How do I schedule an appointment?

  You can schedule online anytime, or call your nearest office directly during business hours. A member of our team will help find a time that works for you.

• What are your office hours?

  Our offices are open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We’re closed Saturday and Sunday.

• Do you offer telehealth appointments?

  Yes. Virtual visits are available for certain follow-up care and chronic condition management. Ask our team if a telehealth visit is right for your situation.

• How do I pay my bill?

  You can pay securely online anytime through our bill pay portal, or contact our office directly with any billing questions.

• How do I request a copy of my medical records?

  Contact your nearest office directly and our staff will walk you through the records request process.

• Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

  Yes. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call your office as soon as possible so we can offer that time to another patient.

• Are you accepting new patients?

  Yes, we welcome new patients at all of our offices. Schedule online or call to get started.

• What should I do if I have an eye emergency?

  Call your nearest Sierra Nevada Eye Center office immediately. If you’re unable to reach us and believe you’re experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate care at the nearest emergency room.
